Polly explains couchsurfing

Yes, I know! I haven’t blogged for a while.  I fully intended to write this post about three weeks ago, but then once I knew what I was going to write THIS week I knew it would overlap so I thought: “I’ll just write a bigger one next week” – which is what I decided to do… last week… and then I didn’t, so I have just done  whole a catch up thing… Also I have been putting the ‘random posts’ as pieces under the relevant heading on the menu – so do go check that out.

First off: this is what I did a few weeks ago!

13 Pirate Adventure

I toured Bristol with a ‘Pirate Crew’ made up of various European Couchsurfer friends!  The amount of traveling and trips some of these guys do really inspired me to start saving up and try out more visits to places.  Now that I have a dedicated travel journal (as seen in the thumbnail below!)  I have started trying to work out how I fit in all the international and national travel I want to get done in the next 10 years… sadly it all boils down to money, so I will need to sort something on that front!

Along with an invite to Nuremberg this August (which I have sadly had to decline) there is also a couchsurfing carnival in Maastricht next february and an event in Penzance, that I discuss in my ‘couchsurfing explanation video‘ along with explaining what couchsurfing actually is!
